In this Module read over Modules 6A, 6B first looking at the clnical presentations of various viral and genital viral infections. Most cases are not biopsied. Rather viral swabs and PCR are used to make a diagnosis.

Look at the Preview video first on what we will be studying and then the video sumarising the histology of some of the commoner viral conditions such as herpes simplex and orf and their  histological differentials. Go over the links I have put up to Dermnet and MyDermPath as they are good summaries of the histology.

In the webinar for this Module I will go over the clinical and histological features of these conditions.
